Why is Dave K. wearing a chef jacket for cooking

Why is Dave King wearing a chef's jacket for cook shows? Did QVC decide to send him to cooking school at some point? I may have missed it. Although, I must say that QVC brings in product speSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMts for almost every cooking product they air. Really no need to train a host in the art of food prep.

Probably just to keep his clothes clean. I think clothes are extremely important to him.

Maybe they hired Dave as Bob's soux chef. Oh God...the thoughts that are going around in my head right now....

Well, he doesn't do anything with the food so there is no reason for him to wear the jacket. Some of the hosts wear the QVC apron although, I have noticed that changing as well. Many of the hosts are not doing that either. They never cook anymore.
