Rocco's cookware

Not that I need any additional pieces to add to my Cook's Essentials. However, I was wondering if anyone ordered the Rocco cookware. If so what did you think of it. Appears to be on the light weight side.

I don't have any of his cookware pieces, but I just saw an Oprah show and she has his cookware. The show was a tour of her apartment here in Chicago. When they got to the kitchen area, her chef was cooking something and she pointed out that it was Roccos stuff and they loved it. I trust what she says...I'm sure she's not getting paid to endorse his products.

I wanted to buy his cookware cause I love the color. However, the interior is not non stick, except for one pan. I have some Calphalon pieces, but would love to get a cookware set in red.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi: I don't have Rocco's cookware, but I've heard it's a good set and has some weight to it. It's not cheap cookware. Wish I could offer more information. Good luck with your decision.

I agree with CanGal.

Cooks Essentials hard anodized is great cookware. It heats evenly and is very tough.

I just used my Hard Anodized "everyday pan" last night instead of a wok and "love love love" it Marekitty. I have a friend registered for Calphalon for her wedding, and IMHO it's not near the product mine is.

CanGal and MareKitty--I also have and love the hard anodized. For close to 20 years I used a set I bought when I was in college. I hated it, but I had spent a lot of money on it so I kept using it. Now it's a pleasure to cook.

One word of caution for the Hard Anodized lovers. I ordered the Hard Anodized tea kettle to match the cookware and was so excited to get it. But, it drips. So pass on that one.
