Well then Weiner, might you like to shout (what's with those caps anyway) at us about something Q-related? We love your deep insight into life. :) Remember, no cussing now and please don't use words like *exposed* anymore. It doesn't fit your chaste personality.

You crack me up beaglelvr. Really, now that the drama and Stel BS is gone, we can have some good, honest, fun without any manipulative lying and all the other goings on. I really do like QVC. I really do like this board.

Doggy-the amount of time you spend spewing your crap on this BB is unbelievable! For God's sake and ours, get a life!
When was the last time you made an "on-topic" OVC related post? Please give me the thread and message number because, unlike you, I don't have all day and night to search the board looking for it. What was your first QVC purchase? Who is your favorite OVC host? What is your favorite QVC product? Who is your favorite guest vendor?
If you can't answer these simple questions, then I have an even simpler one for you: Why are you here when you dislike everyone and think we're all sick in the head? Come on, think hard now-you can do it!

doggylover

Miss Trilby:
Thanks for your interest in my life. None of your posse has ever aksed:

1) First purchase was a stained glass hurricane candle holder. I was on air with Steve Campatuon(sp) and got to play tic-tac-doe but lost.

2)My fave host has to be MaryBeth. SHe is a christian and is genuine

3) I ordered the mop and broom set that was on recently, and it has been my favorite...along with my Northern Nights sheets -- EXCELLENT products.

4) Favorite guest vendor? Maybe the little hippie girl who sells Birkenstocks. Cna't remember her name.

Yes, I still think y'all are sick in the head! Bigfatstel and her posse got SKEERED and left! We're so happy you did! Love ya! Miss ya! SAGS rule! Doggy out! FIve alive!@

I'm design cat clothing. Yes, we manufacture beaded ensembles for cats in case of special occasions, we have feather boas in case they want ot feel sexy, we also make cat lingerie and undergarments, such as bras and panties. CAts are extremely sensitive to the materials we use, so we have an actual cat who does our buying on material. Also, we have started a new line called Kitty Bling Bling. Lots of jewelry (some of it resembling our beloved Q's jewelry) with big stones and it has a very street smart vibe to it. Anyway the cat clothing business is thriving...look us up on the internet - we're called CAT-astrophe!

SO BASICALLY YOU ARE POOR, AND THAT'S WHY YOUR EYES TURN GREEN WHEN PEOPLE SPEAK ABOUT THEIR POSSESSIONS. I GUESS YOU DIDN'T READ THE THREAD REGARDING QVC AND THEIR LINE OF PET CLOTHES. THE RIDICULE WAS TREMENDOUS. MAYBE YOU NEED TO GO OUT AND GET A REAL JOB.

doggylover
06-23-2004, 07:49 PM
Yeah, Mrs. Stel and Unamused, you heard me...I design and manufacture cat clothes. I have an excellent team of assistants: Tabby, Morris, Garfield, MowMow, Bigfatstel, Thomasina, and many others...we just design our litte hearts out! I even let them choose an outfit each month that they can have free of charge. I give them a 10% discount on any other outfits they purchase. I know it's a little generous, and my accountant says he thinks I am giving away the store, but hey, we can't be selling clothes that we don't even wear. I REQUIRE them to wear Cat-astrophe clothes in the shop. They're awesome. The only trouble I've had with them is they like to partake of Catnip while on duty. Now, it's none of my business if they want to get high while they are off duty, but when they are in this shop, I want them to be cognizant and courteous to our customers. I once had a customer complain of their behavior because they couldn't get the salescat's attention. She was obviously high on catnip. I have reprimanded each of them, as this is a serious infraction. They cannot be high and do their job well at the same time. I told them next time I saw or EVEN suspected catnip, I am calling Animal Control and their BUTTS will be in JAIL!

UnAmused
06-23-2004, 07:55 PM
WELL, I'M SURE THE ANIMAL CONTROL PEOPLE ARE ON A FIRST NAME BASIS WITH YOU AS THEY HAVE CAUGHT YOUR HIDE QUITE A FEW TIMES. ALTHOUGH, I REALLY BELIEVE YOU TO BE A LIAR, BECAUSE I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT BIGFATSTEL IS NOT ONE OF YOUR EMPLOYEES.

NOW HERE'S A THOUGHT FOR YOU DOG: YOU STATED YOU WANT THIS BOARD TO BE A NICE, FUN PLACE TO DISCUSS QVC THINGS. MAYBE YOU SHOULD PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH. WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU SPOKE ABOUT QVC? I'M SURE WITH THE DESIGNING AND ALL YOU DON'T HAVE TIME TO WATCH IT, BUT IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING IN A QVC BOARD, YOU REALLY SHOULD TURN IT ON ONCE IN A WHILE SO THAT YOU COULD HAVE AN INTELLIGENT CONVERSATION ABOUT THE TOPIC OF THE BOARD WITH THE ADULTS THAT PLAY HERE.

HEY DOGGY- REALLY- YOU'RE A SNOOP DOGG FAN??? I AM BEST FRIENDS WITH HIS UNCLE,BACK IN THE DAY WHEN I USED TO GET OFF MY LAZY BUTT, HE WAS MY BOSS, SO MAYBE IF YOU STRAIGHTEN UP, I COULD TALK TO MY FRIEND AND TRY TO HOOK YOU UP WITH SOME CONCERT TICKETS OR SOMETHING!!! BUT YOU NEED TO START PLAYING REAL NICE THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!! OKAY?????

doggylover
06-23-2004, 08:04 PM
HOney, you don't know a thing about Cat Tastes if you think they'd be CAUGHT DEAD in Susan Graver. We model our designs after FAMOUS STYLE HOUSES! And the cat clients are so particular, sometimes they will try on 30 outfits before they finally settle on one...usually the first one they tried on. Then the salescats have to hang all their try-ons back on the hangers and then back on the floor. The salescats are HIGHLY overworked. I gave them each a raise (a box Tender Treats) and they seemed satisfied. I hope DOG-matic, the new doggy clothing store I am opening in July, will be as sophisticated and successful! You never know what kind of clientele you will attract, though. We won't be carrying any walmart quality piece...only estate pieces that our clients can pass down from generation to generation. That's what we are creating here...investment pieces!

Do you carry a maternity line?

doggylover
06-24-2004, 08:04 AM
You are so sweet and funny. Yes, CAT-astrophe has a maternity line. The nursing bra has eight fold down cups so that the mother doesn't have to expose herself completely when nursing her litter. You should see the Manolo Blahniks we have ordered. SO CUTE. They have 4-inch heels and pointy toes. Our buyers tried them on and absolutely LOVED them. We also have a plus size CATegory, for those who are overweight. And we make their clothes stylish. SO many lines that carry plus size clothing think that the plus size customer wants UGLY clothes. NO UGLY CLOTHES here! Stylish frocks and outfits.

I was wondering if you had anything in leather. If I had a kitty, I'm sure she would be a naughty kitty and would want to dress the part:-)

TURTLELADY
06-24-2004, 08:15 AM
I'm sure that doggy has at least leather chaps....and hisherits "purria secret" has a leather thong or two.

doggylover
06-24-2004, 08:20 AM
Y'all are cracking me up. Well, we wanted this to be a classy boutique, but so many wildcats started calling requesting leather items, we devoted a corner of our store, into which ONLY ADULT cats are admitted, which features kitty porn and all kinds of leather (S&M style). You may say I'm selling out to have those kinds of products, but hey, the market demanded it. If I didn't jump on the opportunity, somebody else would have. Turtlelady, are you going to jump into the marketplace with your magnificently named "Purria's Secret" shop?

TURTLELADY

I don't know, doggy, I'll sell the rights to you....for a little information.

doggylover
06-24-2004, 09:05 AM
I'll take it. What kind of information?

TURTLELADY
06-24-2004, 09:18 AM
What breed of dog are you? Have you had any litters? This is just a starter...my patent doesn't come cheap.

doggylover
06-24-2004, 09:26 AM
I am a German shepher / black lab mix. I am sweet as can be. No litters. I just found out I have bone cancer. It's on my ankle. My daddy got me before my mommy and daddy got married, but then my mommy fell in love with me. I keep her company when daddy is out of town. The vet says this cancer is very aggressive. It hasn't spread to my lungs yet, and mommy and daddy are weighing the decision to let me live the rest of my life (3-6 months) at home and with plenty of pain meds to help me through, or if they'll remove my leg, which might give me another 3-6 months. Really, Turtlelady, it's quite sad. We've had this sweet dog now for 10 years. We've been married 8 of those years, so she's lived with me for 8 years now. She is devoted to my husband, who adores her, and I know I play second fiddle, but I do it gladly because she is such a sweetie pie. She had surgery to repair her ACL in the leg that is not affected with cancer, so we don't know if removing her leg with cancer would be a good move right now, since the leg that would remain has had problems. Also, she is a big dog...over 110 pounds in the winter and about 100 during the summer. We are having a difficult time deciding what is right for her. And quite frankly, we are heartbroken over this.

TURTLELADY
06-24-2004, 09:45 AM
Oh, doggy, I'm so sorry. It's so hard when our animals are sick; we know they don't understand and we feel so helpless. Doggy, I'm glad you said this....wish you'd said it about 6 weeks ago when you joined. You can have friends here....I've gone back and forth on you since the beginning.

Do you live in an area of the country where there are good Universities? Now I'm not slamming anything so don't take this the wrong way....hear me out. We live about an hour and a half from UCDavis. UCDavis has a med school, and vet school, in addition to all other things...but they have a place where anyone can bring their animals and they really help in "lost causes". I believe it is a free of charge service, or if not the fees are really low...but you're getting the best treatment possible....it's not the students that are doing the treatments. Where do you live? Near a big university?

doggylover
06-24-2004, 01:05 PM
Yes, I live close to University of Tennessee, and they have a wonderful vet school. In fact, they treated one of my mother-in-law's cocker spaniels who had to have an eye removed. He had to wear one of the lampshades on his head for several months, but he lived a very fulfilled life and died of natural causes when he was about 13 (last year). His sister (we say twin...they were from the same litter and looked EXACTLY alike) is still living, but she has lost all hearing and sight. But my mother-in-law says putting her down now would just be a convenience issue for her since the dog seems perfectly content just to be held and just to play in her little area during the day. Anyway, our vet is a graduate of UT Vet School and is a really special vet. I feel we have gotten the best care and advice. You're so sweet to be asking about it. Thank you, Mrs. Turtlelady.

I just saw that you live close to San Francisco? Is that right? Two summers ago, my husband and I took a trip out there. We stayed right downtown at the Renaissance Parc 55 (the hotel where the trolley makes its turn), and we had an absolute blast. What a beautiful part of our country. We rented a car and drove over to Tiburon (I think that's how you spell it) and hiked some of the areas there. There was one hike that led to a watchtower, and we got some gorgeous pictures there. Then, we drove over to Carmel and my husband played Pebble Beach Golf Course while I went to the spa with a girl I met there. It was really funny...I didn't even know there was a spa. Well, since it was just me and my husband, we decided to get a cart just for the two of us so I could ride with him while he played with his foursome. One of the men who was in his foursome did the same thing...his wife came along with him. They were from Dallas...lots of fun to be around. Anyway, the wife and I were freezing to death (overcast and about 55 degrees), so she said, "Let's take on of the golf carts, leave the other one for the guys, and find the spa." Well, we did, and we each got 1 hour massages and then just sat in the sauna room. They also had these wonderful showers, with jets coming in from the top, bottom, sides. It was just absolutely one of the best vacations I've ever taken. My husband thinks so too!

Hi Doggylover;
I am so sorry to hear about your beloved pet. I have 2 Yorkies that I work my life around to take care of their every need. They are so precious. Dogs love you know matter what! I will say a prayer that things go well for your dog and that he does not suffer. I know it must be very hard to make the decision as to what to do so I will pray for you and your husband too.
Blessings,

Hi doggy....but it's Mallory, isn't it? and the real doggy is Macy? If so can we start with the new persona? I will certainly have some prayers for you, your husband, and your poor pet. I'm glad you can get some good help and that your vet is good.

The San Francisco area is fantastic. I worked in Tiburon for ten years...up high...overlooking the bay and the Golden Gate Bridge I could see both the Golden Gate Bridge, downtown SF, the bay and the Bay Bridge from my office...had a wonderful commute every day and really never took it for granted.

When we first moved to the Bay Area we saw all the tourist attractions so much. We were the chamber of commerace. When we moved into our home in Marin we had non stop company for the first year and a half. There was one time that my husband drove one batch to the airport while I changed the sheets on the bed and he picked up another batch of guests at another gate and came home. We used to do the Muir Woods, Tiburon, Coast tour one day; two trips to the city - cable cars fishermans warf one day; Golden Gate park the next with dinner in Chinatown; then Monteray and Santa Cruz another day. After those two years and all relatives haven't been back to most of those places since! LOL

Cooking a big Italian feast tonight for friends and husband. I made a meat lasagna for meat eaters and a black olive lasagna for non meat eaters (myself and probably a few others). I've never tried the black olive lasagna. Always just ate cheese lasagna. I'll let you know how it turns out.
