I could not believe the prices - one item was $150.00
Has anyone tried his products? Wow, is he gay LOL
I have never heard of him before today but the hosts were making a big fuss about his skin care line.

His skin color is kind of creepy too, sort of yellowy and waxy. I have heard that Kelly Ripa is a fan of that $150.00 crease release cream.

I could not believe the prices!! He had the voice of a 70 year old and SO MUCH plastic surgery that it was not possible to determine his age. That was just creepy to watch. If his products are so great, why have surgery? And it wasn't even good surgery - you could see the scars through his thinning hair. Everything was expensive - several items were $75, $100, $150 (I think that was the highest price). Did you notice if they had the little counter at the bottom, saying how many had been bought? My mom is the type to believe and buy those types of products and even she was passing on this.

I am so glad I am not the only one who thought he had plastic surgery. I would have loved to try his products though, but the prices were ridiculous and I passed.

I thought the prices were too high too, but I was surprised that they didn't seem to address it. They should have said that it will last forever, that this will replace other products that you are using, etc. They have to give some justification as to why spend so much other than they are selling out, and all of the celebs like them.

So what if he's GAY? Are you jealous that he didn't ask you out? That is about how much sense your deplorable examination of the good doctor's demeanor makes.... Bigots should be hung out to dry out.
In this day and age, using "gay" as a derogatory adjective JUST DOESN'T CUT IT! GET OVER IT...Gay and Lesbians are here to stay, and like it or not, you all benefit from their talents no matter if its hairdressing, acting, designing, or even carrying your groceries out to your car from the SAFEWAY. SO THERE YOU DUMB ASS! LOL
Besides, Dr. Brandt is a master of his craft. His Skin Care is great. I have used just about all the major ones in my 56 years and alot of the minor ones too. Dr. Brandt's line is well worth the money. It lasts along time. You do not have to use much. I have been buying mine at Sephora before for his line of products came to QVC.

Just tried Dr Brandt pores kit. Didn't buy it from Qvc got a better deal from Nordstrom. Creepy as he may be, his skin care is awsome. I have tried a lot of stuff. Dr Denese (who used to be the brains behind skin science). NV Perricone that I currently use, and Philosophy that in part I still use. Brandt is the best of all of those and none of these guys have bad stuff. I wouldn't buy crease release though, too expensive and I don't really need it. I saw a great benefit from the C gel. My lines were much softer just using that. I am 41 maybe I will need crease release in another 10 yrs.

The Dr. is one scary looking mutha! Sorry, I don't care about the products, I can't get past HIM! His skin is pulled so tight, I swear his bunghole opens every time he blinks! He is a surgeon and he allowed someone to do that to his face? Seriously, he almost reminds me of a burn victim when I look at him - very thin skin, wide looking-eyes and sparse hair - but he paid to have that look. I don't get it...

I could care less about Dr. Brandt's sexual preferences...but I don't like his prices and my ever so gullable mother bought over $250 worth of his products as gifts for me and my sister.....
That makes me so angry....we will have her return the items.

I looked on the web and Dr. Fredric Sheldon Brandt (of Coral Gables, FL) is 55. He looks much older. This also appears on his own website: GAG!
"Thriving practices in Miami and New York, personally seeing more than 40 patients a day, don't be surprised to find Madonna, Rupert Everett or Cher waiting for their turn with the magic hands and super vision of Dr. Brandt."
yeah, I am sure that I would find Madonna waiting in his office.....just like every other patient!!!

Pond's has a complete line with the same ingredients! LOL. Go on line and look. Green tea, cucumber extract, etc.
I once saw a 60 Minutes program and they were discussing the billions of dollars women spend a year on cosmetics. They went on to say how the consumer was getting ripped off. I am starting to think the same way.

You make a valid point, galemarie. I think it was the same documentary (?) that said the big companies like Proctor & Gamble, Colgate-Palmolive, etc. have the money to do a lot of research. The smaller companies then duplicate the ingredients and inflate the price of their products. I have to be honest, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE (o.k., shoot me for that one) Avon. Their Anew line is really great. I have a friend that never used any type of skin cream at all. She had crowsfeet (pretty deep) at the age of 40/41. She is using their Retroactive + and vitamin C serum and you would not believe the results! She looks ten years younger and the results were noticed within 3 to 4 weeks. I am using the Anew Clinical line (heavy duty stuff, I do not mess around!). I love it, too.

Puddy, I'm also a big fan of Avon's ANEW products. I use the ANEW Ultimate face and eye cream and love them. Just curious -- have you used the clinical line and wrinkle corrector or the facial peel? I've been thinking of giving them a try.

I'm trying the facial peel tonight as a matter of fact! I have a sample so I'm going to give it a go. I am currently using the cream (line/wrinkle corrector). This campaign they have two really great deals on the Anew Ultimate products. One is by the face cream and get the eye cream free and the other is by the face cream, eye cream and hand cream for a super low price. I am definitely ordering the Anew Clinical Microdermabrasion. It's $20 or so, so I'm trying that too! I'm scrubbing, exfoliating, firming and smoothing my face, now if I could only do that to my butt...

I have very sensitive skin. That is why I don't use anything with oil in it. At this time, I am using Pricipal Secret Reclaim but, it too is expensive.
Does the Avon Anew line have any oil in the products ?
Thank you so much for the information.

I got the AHA pads, and they dried out before I had used them up. I was afraid that would happen, as they seemed fairly dry to begin with. I didn't bother with the neutralizer pads, as I've been using AHA's for 10 years.

HAS THE FDA CHECKED OUT THIS DUBIOUS LINE OF PRODUCTS? IF NOT, WHY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THE ASSHOLE WHO MARKETS THESE PRODUCTS SHOULD LEGALLY HAVE TO PROVE THE CLAIMS FOR HIS AH, PRODUCTS!
