View Full Version : Slick Nick....
Anybody watch the last hour of Nick Chevaz? I think we've all been FLOCKED! Did you see his house, horses, ranch, pool, car??? Need I go on? Jeeez, all that flocker has made him a wealthy guy. I must be doing something wrong, since I do hair too.

I really don't think that he could remember his blonde sister in law's name and someone said it to him in his earpiece. He's been sniffing too much flocker vapor! That big hair on Patti too...it looks like she is ready to audition for "Hairspray" on Broadway.

My first post. First I don't really order much from QVC but my mother does. She is 81 years old and thinks all the hosts are like her friends. I think QVC takes advantage of people like her.
Anyway, do you really think that was Nick Chavez's niece? I think a lot of what goes on at QVC is a lie (personal stuff about hosts). I mean there are people who stalk the hosts and guests (or would do that) so why would they publicize so much about their lives. I think a lot of it is fantasy, just like when the hosts say they own this or that and that they buy all their stuff at QVC. My mother has bought me and my children gifts from QVC and I find the clothing to be poorly made and hideous (she bought me a Quaker Factory sweater set that was so outlandish .....) My mother has bought me Nick CHavez's flock, but not even my kids would use it. The only thing I think is a value on QVC is their silver (it is hard to find the variety of silver jewelry). Even their gold is overpriced. I buy my gold jewelry at the local Sam's Club here in Columbus. It is cheaper than QVC, I get to feel the jewelry and there is no shipping charge.
I just wish my mom would spend less money at QVC. I think she buys because she wants to make the hosts happy...and make people like Nick Chavez happy.
BY the way, does anyone know if his salon is really all that? A search on google didn't bring any results for his salon (if it was that famous, wouldn't it have a website?
Have to say I never buy his products. Just wouldn't buy any of that expensive and way overpriced cosmetics. I could buy most of them in department stores and no S&H and try them out in the stores. And even they are ripoffs. The cheaper drug store and supermarket brands are just as good, except for BE. I do not like liquid foundation of any kind and find BE is so lightweight and being crushed minerals it looks completely natural and provides coverage enough for me anyway.

I've never seen his salon, but to have a salon for such a long time IN Beverly Hills ... you'd have to be doing pretty well.
When I googled him, I found an article that read, according to QVC, he makes up to a million dollars in sales an hour.
SIGN ME UP! lol ...

I thought it was 'funny' when he said the models were friends and family, then he didn't even know their names! Sorry Nick - not too convincing. I've found his products to be most unsatisfactory. I get my hair product recommendations from my hairdresser. After he's made me look gorgeous, he can sell me anything.

I used to work fo r QVC and they do market to older and isolated population. I know there are little old ladies out there who own multiples of the same item. Is is sad. But then there are those like me who are well and able and still get sucked in. LOL

Do you still think that's the case re catering to older
and isolated women? Obviously that's a good market
but it seems like they're trying to expand their market.
New designers, xsmall, etc. The only Nick item I think
is exceptional is the cello-gloss. I can't find anything
like it anywhere else. And he does have a high end
salon in Beverly Hills. Maria Shriver goes there. My
suspicion is that he's making more bucks at QVC though.

He spends enough time on QVC. He must have a lot of frequent flyer miles by now.

I like the volumizing gel he sells. But my favorite of his is the Omega 6 Reactivator. I don't wash my hair everyday becuase it would get too dry and the O6R helps alot to get the style back and get rid of the bed-head. I wouldn't be without it.
I don't know if he's any good as a hair stylist but he sure knows the hard sell. He never, ever shuts up and when he's on with Patti, the show disintegrates into chaos because Patti never, ever shuts up. Not the perfect couple.
