The Program Guide says the midnight show is "When Irish Eyes Are Stylin'", so my guess is it's something to do with fashion... They have had lots of nice sweaters, wraps, and sweater coats in the past, and I would love a TSV like that!

The Insider says it is a 100% Merino Wool 3/4-Length Hooded Sweater Coat with Trinity Knot Zipper Pull.
I hope Lisa Mason is the one that said she's be kicking the day off because Lisa Robertson should not be. Just because Jane Rudolph Treacy is no longer a host, it does not mean that Lisa needs to kick off a 24 hour event that she has hosted, I dunno, ONCE before, or so. (I'm not sure-this may be her first time.) Someone that has host that day every year should get to instead, like Jill Bauer, Lisa Mason or Mary Beth Roe. Honestly, I am so sick of Lisa Robertson her. I understand that she just kicked off Klondike Gold Rush, since she "love love loves" gold, but an Irish DAY too? Please tell me Lisa Mason said that.

My Queen...GET the coat if it comes in a 2X only...I got a Merino sweater last year and I got a 2X and it fits fine...And if anyone is sitting on the fence when they see the Merino sweaters..don't...I love mine...VERY soft and snuggly in the cooler months!

Isn't the Rowenta today's TSV? Not Friday's? I purchased a Rowenta from the Q and it just never got hot enough. A hot rolling pin would have worked better. Never again.

I finally went out and bought a really inexpensive Proctor Silex and it works much better than that piece of crap Rowenta. Half the prince and I've been using it for 4 years. And I like to iron!!! Now don't hit me with those rolling pins!

I know, I've been treated for this disease - but it didn't work. When I was a kid, a family with eight males lived across the street. I made spending money ironing their shirts ever week. I made a bundle and enjoyed myself doing. Best job I ever had.
Have to go, hear the matron with the keys coming this way. If I get caught they won't give me that new ironing board cover they promised!

ohhh good! Thanks for the info you guys! I think that may be a purchase I have to get. I'm heading over to Ireland to see my Fiance at the end of Oct. and think that will be perfect! Funny...I'm buying an Irish sweater here in the states...But it's true, with the exchange rate etc. you'd pay a lot more in Ireland for the same thing or something similar.

Oh yeah..I'm not saying I don't go a bit nuts when I'm over there! There are many things over there that you can't get here...I always seem to make a big dent in my credit card! :) But the TSV for Friday does sound great! We'll have to see what the price is....

It has a hood???????????? Oh noooooooooooooooo. All that and it has to have a crummy hood.
I have a Rowenta and just love it/ My sister bought one that didnt heat up eithet and she just took it back and got another and loves it. Maybe it is a problem but the iron (when you get a good one) is so good it is worth sending it back for a replacement/ And I am a real one for not having to mess around with poor quality but I really love this iron brand. I have never had a prob;em with them. I am ready to upgrade to the TSV

In my opinion, a hood and a baseball bat and that's all you need to afford anything you want on QVC. LOL. Does a hood look good on anyone? Other than a monk?
