Okay, this has probably been done before...which are your faves and which are the worst?? I mean so bad you have to turn the sound off?? I personally love them because, warts and all, they are not "coached" as much as the hosts and sometimes say or do things they shouldn't???

Stan Herman -- love him!!! Entertaining.
I like the lady from KitchenAid but her voice is hard to listen to.


HSN -- (don't watch this much due to too many vendors who bug me or whose voices hurt my ears)

The make-up lady -- Signature A line??? Yikes!

SNBC - don't watch much. Have yet to see a vendor??? Hosts' shouting bothers me!

I like the guy that does the Fenton. Mr. Fenton. He is a really nice guy and comes from a good family. I also like the kitchenaid lady even though she does have a rough voice. I do not like Jeanne

Did you notice Hollis (from L'occitane) has gotten a facelift? The plastic surgery was done by somebody who really knew his stuff. I also noticed that they didn't bring the camera close up to her face.
(Maybe she's not perfectly healed.) Now all she needs is some advice on applying make-up.

Are any of you L'occitane users? Do you get good results?

Best...Jean Bice..Quacker Factory...love her!
Stan Herman...so cute and full of energy..great to watch!
Walter the Peterboro basket guy..He does not say much but he is just adorable!

Worst: Jan the Carpi man...he is just to many places..QVC, informercials...to much! Plus he wears girly pants! LOL
And the Breezies lady...she looks like an older Barbie Doll...and I just can't deal with her hair...yeech!

Ditto Kitty!! Love Bice and Herman, they seem like "real" people. ShopNBC has some of the worst vendors ever: some Italian guy (can't think of his name)who reps Carlo Vianni jewelry. He sings, in italian, to every show host and this man cannot sing. Even worse is Bezhad Zarhady who does Dreams of India jewelry. Everything is prefaced with "And do you know what!?!" or "let me tell you what". He also does Luccien Piccard watches and leather goods. When you couple these with the hosts - unwatchable!

I just love Paula Deen...made her "Orange Brownies" recipe for Saturday night's dessert - we all loved it! It was featured on one of her weekly shows Tivo taped for me. The rebroadcast was Sunday morning. Her sons are very sweet and easy on the eyes, too bad they're married!

Was Paula on QVC? If so I missed it! I just LOVE her! She is so funny! Did anybody watch her special "wedding" show on the food network? I'll admit ... I cried! lol ...

WORST vendor of all time has to be Adrienne on HSN. BLECK! She is just SO annoying ... and the woman couldn't get anywhere near my face with that clown make-up she dots on the models! Second runner up is (sorry ladies, just my opinion) Jeanne Bice.

Faves are Joan Rivers, Michael with Affinity diamonds, Crab-cake couple and the (lol ...) power washer/vacuum guy on HSN (HOTTIE).

The grey haired guy that did the Palladium show with Lisa! He's with Leach & Garner, you know, Ted Leach/EternaGold, etc. He was dreamy!

Some of my favorites are Cherie Christmas from Maxx Handbags, Ted Leach from Eterna Gold, Joan Rivers (I met her in NYC when she was out dog walking and she is a very nice person), Renee Greenstein of CitiKnits, Oscar, Valerie Parr-Hill, Michael O'Conner from Affinity diamonds, and Tova.

I do love Ted Leach... he seems very trustworthy, and he is so calming! I love having EternaGold shows on the background. He reminds me of a psych class professor whose voice and manner was just so calming! I also like Michael the Affinity diamond guy. He's gotten a lot better since he started. Finally, I love the USA Gold guy on HSN--Anthony Paolercio. He too is very calming. In fact, all of these vendors let their products speak for themselves; they don't need to scream to sell it.

I don't like The Slinky Lady on HSN. Her voice is so nasal and drones on and on. I do not like Behzad on SNBC... kind of makes me think of someone who just wants me to buy something for the sake of buying it... Also, the Carlo Vianni guy (Leondardo) is bad too. I hate how the female hosts gush about him, and flirt with him. The singing is not good! Finally, I don't like Chef Tony who sells his knives on QVC. Just reminds me of a slimy salesperson...

Ok, guilty pleasure confession time: Stefano on ShopNBC. The accent and the brown eyes. The fact that he's in the jewelry business, major +++. Why hasn't Lisa nabbed an Italian gold merchant yet? There's also a cutie from Italy that sells amber jewelry on HSN. Not a good as Stefano, but he'd do in a pinch! ;p

I agree with much here and won't repeat. I'm not sure anyone has mentioned the birkenstock lady. I don't buy the shoes, but do enjoy her. She is entertaining.

Behzad does act desperate to sell his pieces, but his very high end pieces are worth every penny, though. I usually wait until super clearance time to buy most of his jewels. You get more that way of course. His leather coats are excellent quality, also.

When Joan Rivers is on, my set is turned to another channel. Her voice is grating, she drops the ends of her words, and talks to fast for my taste. I don't watch HSN often, but it seems when I'm clicking by, that Adrienne Arpel woman, or Andrew Lessman is on an awful lot! They must have NO life, or hawking their wares IS their life.

Can't stand Adrienne on HSN. And she is on for hours and hours at a time.

My favorites are Sayed Haider on SAH, did you know he stands the whole time the host is standing at the close up camera. He doesn't sit until they do. He is so polite. Michael Valitutti(sp) on shopnbc and Tova on Q. The list of the ones I dislike is too long to post. Jan

Ooooh, I forgot some of them! I do love ShopNBC's Stefano and HSN's amber guy. They are just so softspoken and quiet (and cute) without them knowing that--and I love it. I like Skip and Amanda on HSN too--Skip is pretty funny!

I think ADRIENNE ARPEL is way way cool! You gotta hand it to her...standing there for hours, nonstop talking about makeup and skincare, that really is an accomplishment.

JOAN should own QVC! You gotta admire her for her selling skills. How many millions has she sold so far? WOW. Cathy wrote about her in her book.

Valerie Par Hill is THE MOST obnoxius person I have ever seen....they should team her forever with Krista the Pitts and send them off to a republican convention somewhere in the netherlands. What LOSERS...

The guests that grate on my nerves are Nick Chavez(too kissy kissy for me), Susan Graver(interrupts too much), Spanx girl with all her shimmying,the slinky girl on HSN with that nasal voice, Jerome Alexander from HSN, Adrian from HSN, Jay the Southwest Jewelry guy from HSN, There is a Minnosota accent lady who sells handbags on ShopNBC who, along with Charla
Reymes crack me up. Such silliness. But, the McCoys drive me nuts. His voice is annoying.

Susiee, do you really think Hollis had a facelift? I only saw parts of her shows, and I noticed that her hair was a different color, so that's what I thought made her look different. Her skin did look more blotchy than usual -- she usually has a flawless complexion, so maybe she couldn't wear any makeup?? I get a kick out of her now, though; she's so relaxed and genuine. When she was first on, she seemed so stiff, I thought she was kind of snooty -- but now I bet it was just because she was nervous being on TV.

I like the White Mountain guy, Dave. He also seems genuine and he knows what women want in shoes without it being a foot fetish kind of thing. Although I like Stacey from Models Prefer, I am not sure that her sales pitch really works. She is wearing a ton of makeup and for those of us whoe are short on time, I cannot imagine spending that kind of time putting makeup on. At the end she does not seem very real, after fixing all of her imperfections!

I hate Koos!!! of course lol. I hate Joan Rivers almost as much.
My favorites are those ladies with Northern Nights. I also like Michael O'Connor with Affinity diamonds. I like Valarie Parr-Hill Don't care for Susan Graver. Many of the guests are alright with me they don't do anything for me one way or the other.

I rarely watch HSN but when I do it seems like it is always one of three guests. Adrain, Suzane Summers or Andrew Lesman. I can't stand Adrian. I hate to look at her and I can't believe she developed a make up line or skin care or whatever it is.

In defense of Staci - if you subtract the talking time, breaks, etc. it's way less than an hour and with practice, you get faster. (Like sex! ;p)

You are probably right, Puddy (about the makeup, that is). But, I did see Staci (Stacey?) at the food store and she was definitely the "before" shot sp I got the impression that it wasn't the kind of makeup that took just a few minutes and "out the door you go." (another annoying QVC phrase).

I don't think that anyone mentioned the Dooney & Bourke guest. She does a great job explaining all of the details of the D & B bags.

Wow, after reading these posts, I realize that there are a lot more vendors that I like! I agree that Dave from White Mountain is very natural and friendly. I also like Stacey (Models Prefer) a lot, although I wouldn't want to wear all that makeup. She just seems like a fun person. Valerie Parr-Hill is sweetsy, but I think that's probably her natural personality. (Hard to believe anyone could be that nice, but there probably are a few in the world!) I get a kick out of Koos and Joan; enjoy Carolyn Pollock (sp?, Ted Leach, and Michael Maron. Tired of the Spanxx girl's wiggle.

On HSN the guy, Art who sells their cookware, Ultrex is majorly annoying. When Suzanne has her products on HSN, it seems as though she has the whole day to present them. Sometimes longer. I can't figure out what people see in such fake looking jewelry such as Suzanne's-HSN or Joan's on QVC. Do these rich ladies, Suzanne/Joan really wear this stuff?
