An Update. Just heard on Foxnews that Rocco is getting out of the retaurant business, is going to sell what he has left(HMM, wonder if that means QVC) and he is going to pursue other interests.

Maybe he could take Domeirs job?

Yeah It is.. I have the white set, Got it when it when the TSV. I do like it... See Lopie, thats my obession, cooking/cookware.. I have like 5 different sets, this doesnt count the extra pieces that go with the sets....or the electric pieces...

Paula!!!! I am SO Jealous!! I think I have the worlds TEENIEST kitchen...I can only put so much in there!! BUT...I have a TON of cookbooks...that is one of the things I collect...I love em!!! 'Tis truly sad!! LOL

I too, used to have a teeny kitchen, but we moved in June, and now I got a VERY large kitchen and I love it. But there are still some sets in boxes... I also LOVEEE cookbooks, and in this house, I have bulit in bookcases, and all my cookbooks are there, and guess wehat, I have room on them, so I guess I can but more YEAH!!!

Well I think that we all make those kind of mistakes then regret it, and then something will happen and you will get the one you want.

We really wanted BAD this other house and we were so upset that we didnt get it.. Then on a whim, we found one, and it looked ok from the outside, then when we went it, and I saw the kitcehn, well, that was it... THe rest of the house is great too, but my love is in the kitchen...

Luckly..I only have to cook for 2!! Thank God!! But I still wish I had a bigger kitchen...BUT..on the flip side...maybe it is good I don't have one...I would only buy more stuff!! LOL LOL

Yeah I think that is probably true.. Now that I have a bigger kitchen and I have more room to put things, and I DO!

There are 4 of us at home, the girls are 18 & 19, so they arent home much, much less for dinner.

Do you find it difficult to cook for 2?

NOOOO...Not at all! Just cut down portions and use leftovers for lunches the next day...And I always can recommend a smaller Nesco cooker...Which I got at Kohl's for a song...I use it A LOT!! It cooks everything from roasts to chili to rolls...I love it!!!

I have one too, and I do like it... I am so tired though when I get home from work, then sometimes it is so easy to pick up the phone and have it delivered... I need to have more displine.. I also have a slow cooker, but as early as we leave, I am not awake enough to think about dinner, much less start to cook it...

I know how you feel about not being all there early in the morning!! LOL LOL....I like to cook from scratch and do all my own canning in the summer but there are still a lot of nights I just want a big gooey pizza from the hut!! Or some of that fine southern fried chicken from my friend the colonel!!! LOL LOL It is really hard coming up with new and exciting things to cook EVERY day..YIKES!

Yep and you would think that with all my cookbooks, I could always find something to make.. even My Rachel Rays 30 minutes meals, it just so darn easy to pick up the phone

Last summer we went to Savannah and to her restaurant. I took my book for her to sign for me, and I wanted to meet her. I emailed her about a week before and was told just to tell the hostess when we got there, and she would meet me. I thought that was so cool. EXCEPT, for the fact that when I got there, she was in meeting with her arctitects, as she was moving her restuarant, and she didnt have the time to meet. However they did take my cook book up to her and she signed it. It was cool. The food at her restuarant was so good.

We also stopped at MAMA Dips Restuarant, and I didnt get to meet her either, but I did get a signed cook book.

OMGosh!!! You are so lucky!!!! THAT IS GREAT!!! Now....pack up the cookbook and send it to me...I am now using the force for mind control!! LOL LOL I LOVE her show...there are a few recipes I need to get from the food network and print out...stuff she has made recently..Do you watch Alton Brown?.I have his book..He is a hoot and a half!!!! I love to watch him too.

Nope...Michigan...born and raised..I call it the "magic mitten"...I love it here...We live near a big river and the freighters go up and down..I love listening to them toot...Where do you hail from??

Well....due to global warming not as bad as they used to be..I remember when I was a kid we always had lots of snow...I think this winter will be early and cold...the trees turned early and all my garden stuff came in early! The summer this year was GREAT...nice temps...cooler then normal..I am not complaining!! LOL LOL...How are yours??? And I have never been to Maryland....I dated a guy who has a sister in-law from Baltimore...she has the cutest accent..he he

Our winters are either cold/snowy, or nothing. There are winters when we get a lot of snow, then maybe 2-3 years after that, not much snow. Like last winter, we had cold temps, but not a lot of snow.I think that this year we will probably get a fair amount of snow.. And cold too, I think.

I have never been to Michgan. I do want to go to Minnesota, GUESS WHY????

OMgOSH!!! The Mall of America and the QVC Store...Geeze woman....I want to go there SSSSSSSSSSOOOOOOOOOOO badly!!! I keep begging my Mom and she always says...save your $$ and we will go...they have trip packages and don't they have a hotel right outside the mall where you can just walk into the mall? That is where I want to stay!!! It is my dream trip!!!!!!!

Maybe we can co-ordiante our trips, and we can both be there at the same time....

That would be VERY cool.....We should shoot for that next fall! What fun it would be!!!! My mom and I are leaving for our "this year vacation" in 2 weeks...I have been so busy getting things ready to go...that is why no one here has seen much of me the past 2 weeks!!!

I havent camped in so long. I guess at my age, (HA HA), I like the comforts of home. Where are you going on vacation? My husband and I are going on a cruise in Febuary for our anniversary. I am excited about that... But next fall, sounds good. I would have liked to have gone in the spring, but I dont think that I will have the money to do it then. Fall sounds more realistic.....

That is why I was thinking the fall...I live with my Mom...we share a house/SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM and we are having all major things done this fall...roof,windows,siding...so the next 6-8 months here will be poverty city!! LOL LOL
And if you go camping you have to have a trailer...You know...comfortable beds, TV...heat...toilet!! LOL LOL...I am to old to sleep on the ground!!
And we are going to Sanibel Island, Florida this year...I love it there!!! The shelling on the beaches is GREAT! I have always wanted to take a cruise...where are you going on yours??

It leaves from Ft Lauderdale, and goes to Jamica, Grand Caymans, Bahamas, and Key West... I am looking forward to it very much. It should prove to be a good break from Winter...

Celebrity Cruises. My parents have cruised with them a few times and they loved it. SO I thought that it would be good to go on a cruise, where I have some postive feedback.
