Has anyone heard any updated information about Kathy Levine? There is a new shopping channel beginning in Jan. I can't help but wonder if Kathy will be apart or if she has truely hung up her sales pitch..I know she was stuck on herself and very self confident but she sure could sell. I never quite believed all her coincidental stories for each sale item but they were entertaing anyway......

She was very good at her job, that's for sure!

She was a unique individual. I really enjoyed her. It has never been the same since she left. I never could understand her selling the clothing line that she did on HSN. It was poor looking and she personally has so much style.
Kathy was one of the best hosts out there. Who ever secures her as host will surely be lucky.

QVC hasn't been the same since Kathy left. I miss seeing her she was always good for a laugh. Don't miss Jane R. Treasy. By the way what is going on with her website. Is anyone posting on it. I was banned for no reason. Just curious.

I used to post on Jane's site. Since the big transformation it seems less interesting than before. The only thing I ever wanted to talk about was QVC and now they discourage that. There is only one area for shopping related topics. I seldom even look at it.
A Kathy Levine site could be interesting!! She really was so much fun. I never could quite see her with Steve Bryant. He did not seem to be her type. Obviously they did have a relationship since she wrote about it in her book.

I truly enjoyed KL when she was on, and hated to see her go,(qvc is not the same without her) but to say she had style , no, no. Having seen her line on hsn, that stuff was bad, bad bad. .and I do believe that was a reflection of her "taste" I remember when she would do shows with joan rivers, she never looked as classy as joan. Give joan credit, she does dress well. Even though KL tried she never looked classy. I always had the sneaky feeling that joan would have like to do a dress makeover on kathy.

I bought two of Kathy's sweater coats from HSN and I like them but the workmanship is not as I had hoped. Her jewelry line was everyday and cheap looking like something you could purchase at a discount shop. And her clothing line in general looked cheap and had no umphf.....I always thought she looked nice on QVC. Often, she was wearing what was for sale but many times, she wore her own. I just figure she only wanted to invest x dollars in a business and that is what she got out of it. She would have been better off to offer just a few great items and build from there.....Wonder if she will ever return to being a show host anywhere??? She can sell and has a gift of gab allright.......

Sometimes Kathy would just grate on my nerves with her non stop talking, and other times I enjoyed her. I do think that many QVC hosts leave with the idea that there will be offers pouring in to them after they've gone. Unfortunately, Kathy's talk show didn't get off the ground, and the HSN gig didn't work out. Steve Bryant is also in the same boat. Although he has had offers I don't think it was in the realm of what he was making at QVC. Sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side.

When Lisa (in her tweed coat and white pants ensemble-UGH) was hosting the Joan Rivers jewelry show over the weekend Joan brought up Kathy--something about how Kathy wore animal jewelry--not a word from Lisa--she went from comfortable to an awkward, pasted smile on her face. Geezh, they could give us a little information about past hosts. You know Lisa knows how Kathy is doing. Whoever writes the "Behind the story at QVC" book is going to make a lot of money because you know we're all dying to know who hates who and who showed up drunk at the Holiday party--please, some insider write this book.

Rhubarb, I couldn't agree with you more. I think Steve and many other host's heads got a little inflated, and their careers didn't go in the direction they had hoped.
I really liked Kathy and I'm surprised that she didn't land that talk show gig, she is perfect for that type of genre.

Yes, surfrider, you hit the nail on the head. I do understand however after working at the same job for years perhaps they decided it was time for a change. Hell, I'm ready for a change of jobs, boss's and just general scenery and I've only been there for 2 1/2 years! I don't think the grass is greener on the other side, but there couldn't be a worse boss than mine!
