with Kelly. No doubt about it. She's either not feeling well or.....something else. She could barely keep her eyes open today, had a strange smile, and wouldn't even take a sip of the sodas. (Gelman's comment was priceless, "you're well paid, take a sip"!). She did manage to check out the # of calories, though..........lol
Regis was Regis again! Yeah! He was so funny this morning. Just about everything he said made me laugh out loud.

She looked just fine to me and I'm on her side as far as sipping that garbage being passed off as soda. No amount of money would have made me drink any of it. My stomach was churning every time he lifted a bottle and said what it was.......oops there I go again. Would someone hold my hand please and flush.

Well, I have to agree that she did not look quite chipper this morning, but I only caught the last 10 minutes of the show. But, face it, we all have days when we don't feel "quite right"...just a half bubble off level....maybe she has PMS......maybe she missed her husband and had a good cry last night. Her eyes looked puffy underneath and in the inside corners, the way mine do if I cry very long....then they are painful the next morning. I work in retail, so I know how hard it is sometimes to "put on your game face" and not let your mood or feelings show to others. Imagine having to face the scrutiny of millions of people when you feel like crap!
I missed the flavored soda bit, however, I saw it on GMA and even Diane Sawyer winced and din't want to take another taste......who can blame her? Just because someone invents something new, does NOT mean it is GOOD!!!!!
CW in TX.....sticking to her diet coke...leave my greenbean casserole in the oven.

I think that Kelly has a eating disorder,as she did several years ago on AMC when she was too thin. She needs to eat right.
PK...

LOL...
I was getting a bit ill just thinking about drinking after Regis' "backwash"... AACCKK!!!! Once was more than above and beyond... She had no trouble with the first selection - mashed potatoes...
Then Regis kept shaking the bottles up - to mix the turkey and gravy... <grin>
I thought her makeup didn't look "right" today... So did her make up make her look "off", or did her make up look "off" because she didn't feel well?
She has had a mighty busy week...
Hope she is well...
Hah, CW... They did discuss PMS quite a bit this morning... Of course Regis had it confused with menopause, and then called it BMS or something... Kelly did some great improv, acting out PMS... I laughed out loud over that...
Glad you enjoyed the show, too, Lisac...

I don't blame Kelly for not taking another drink of that so called soda either. It was making me sick watching Regis taste them all.I agree Kelly didn't look like she felt well this morning either. But that happens with everyone.

um...I uh...would like to taste them....it sounds delicious...now that is what I call "FAST FOOD"......................................
(has Pepto Bismol in a bottle too...just in case....*giggles)
certain women here start working for a living (Heaven forbid!), raise 3 children(with or without nannies, she obviously devotes alot of time to family), and attend to all sorts of obligations, they'd be lucky to look half as great as Kelly. I think she had alittle less makeup on today because she looked about 18 yrs. old to me.
She's dragging (something's wrong).
She's hyper (something's wrong).
For someone who watches just for Regis, I defy you to make a post which doesn't allude to Kelly. Can't do it can ya? lol
ps--Why not contribute to the holiday thread? The happy thoughts might do you a world of good.
Her eyes were a little puffy but that happens with us all.
Still a fun chat and show IMO.

In response to "when"....I, for one, do not watch just for Regis, I am a Kelly fan, and I was simply agreeing that something did look a little off today, such as, maybe one of the kids was sick all night and she didn't get any sleep. I can identify with that...been there, done that...there is nothing more terrifying than awakening to a child leaning over you and saying "I don't feel so good, mommy".......I'd rather sit up in a chair with the kid if I had to.....why even try to sleep?
Even now (my kids are grown) when I work until 9 or 10 PM and have to go back in at 7AM, I have a great deal of trouble "sleeping on demand" and go in to work with puffy tired eyes. I don't drink or party, I just work one job, have no small children, have a great husband who does not travel....and still I look bad some days. What I was saying, is that yes, she did look odd today, but maybe she did not want to bore us with the details of why. I do not want details of someones "illnesses" if they are going to be explicit, for crying out loud....there's enough of that already. (that's another reason I don't watch Fear Factor, I don't like gross out TV)
Tootles.....I am off to work now, with my tired, puffy, but beautiful big brown eyes!!!!
CW
Hi L,
I have to agree, something is definitely brewing. One day she can't sit still, the next she's almost in a full prone position in her chair clutching her coffee mug. Her puffy eyes are the least of her worries.
Did you catch her stop Reege mid-sentece 'cause she was 'waiting for a slam.' Ouch!
The taste-testing of those drinks went on way too long...hearing Kelly whine about not tasting and Reege trudging forward......like I said, it was way too long.
BTW, Kelly needs to renegotiate her clothing allowance....did you see her tiny clothes rack? And, it looked like it consisted of those flimsy chiffon tops with jeans mingled throughout. That can't possibly be all that Kelly has there, could it? Maybe I answered my own question...we see she does wear the same clothes quite often.
CW, you by no means come here on a daily basis to spew venom. I know that and was not referring to you.
Maybe she did cry her eyes out last night, as you said. Or maybe it was a long day of rehearsals, photo shoot (she showed pics) and tending to kids. Maybe she slept with a pea under her matress and tossed and turned.
You, at least, know what it's like to spend hours a day contributing to the workforce.
Hope you and your beautiful brown eyes have a great day.

How nice of those who don't care for Kelly's hosting skills to show such concern for her, even though I am sure that it is unwarranted.

doesn't matter whether you like someone or not you show concern for someone who is definetly on a downward "spiral".If you saw a wounded aninmal wouldn't you show concern for their well being?. Stop just for a moment and put you personel "LIKE" or "DISLIKE" for her aside and be objective to what your seeing right before your eyes.Gosh ever since I said 4 years ago I dislkie her anything said is considered a "slam" against Kelly by a few.. WOW !!!!Some of you say you watch the "tape" over and over but I guess your'e not really paying attention to her.
My hub complains of bed face sometimes. Says he needs to wake up his face on some mornings.
I don't tape the show. Once is good for me! Love it everyday!!

Good lord, pattyvic - "downward spiral"??? "wounded aninmal(sic)"???
Wow!
Well, you wish I guess, but it's seems you're overreacting (to say the least).
BTW - She said "I really tried to like it"...I felt sorry for her that everyone was egging her on - YUCK!

v, I wasn't sure why she was complaining about the clothes--didn't she just get a huge clothing allowance with her "new contract"??? <wink>
Loved her jacket today, though!
Hi pattyvic. I hear you.
Well, according to some, Kelly's been un-well for sometime now. And she's been in a "downward spiral" since she started Hope and Faith.

Agree with noname and have to add with her bad marriage she'll probably be divorcing next week. Let's see, what's next. Her kids will run away to join the circus and her parents will disown her.

I only caught the host chat today, too busy to watch the rest...but I have to agree, Kelly hasn't been looking very good lately. I noticed and mentioned awile ago she's noticably tired, eyes puffy, just seems to be acting different. I thought it was just me.
A couple of years ago my iron dropped very low, I looked exactly like that, drained& tired all the time, etc. I hope she gets herself to a doctor, if she isn't feeling well. She could have a thyroid problem, that could mimic all kind of symptoms. JMO...
Well, hasn't Kelly been an alcoholic for years? She played an alcoholic Haley, so she must be. LOL

Regis is too much!! lol I don't know how he could drink that stuff today. I was turning green just watching him.
I thought it was so funny when Regis said, "What a fast and easy Thanksgiving it would be - just pass a few bottles out and that's it dinner's over!! Good-bye!!" lol

I also believe there is something wrong with Kelly, she did not look right today. Hopefully it is not a medical problem. She doesn't work any harder than any other mother with 3 children. She works an hour a day on live and she said Friday nights on Hope and Faith. Most mothers are not as fortunate as she with 2 nannies, a cook and I am sure a maid. So, if she can't cope with her jobs, then she should just quit one.
She is fine.
Goodnight all!
<<She works an hour a day on live and she said Friday nights on Hope and Faith.>>
Oh, come on, Francie - you know better than that (at least I hope you do).
She works three nights a week on H&F...Plus photo shoots, events, tapings for Live! Then she has things that she wants to do with her kids and her husband and her family.
Just because she isn't yakking about the things she does 24/7 - doesn't mean she isn't doing them...
This post applies to pattyvic too...I'd like to see either of you work as hard as Kelly and look great every day and be funny and entertaining...
Stop with your Kelly bashing B.S. already...

how do you know I haven't worked just as hard as "KELLY" I was widowed with 2 children, looked after my girls, my house, and did all the motherly and fatherly duties, and "WORKED". I worked hard to keep it going so don't tell me I didn't. I didn't have a nanny, housekeeper, or cook either a house in the Hampton's and a "cushy" extremely over paid job.So before you judge someone know your facts.
Oh, before I forget...
In regards to pattyvic's stupid "downward spiral" comment....Seems to me she's on anything but. After all she's had TWO - Count them - TWO "Woman of The Year" Awards in the past month that doesn't sound like someone going on a "downward spiral" to me!
I guess the bigger Kelly gets, the harder you try to chop her down...
Too Weird for words!

Jinh the point I was trying to make is that she should give up somethng. What is more important than your health and your family? All the money she makes is not going to help her children if she is not well. And she does not look well. I disagree with you that some people do not work as hard as Kelly, there are a lot of single mothers who hold down two jobs, take care of their children with no help. I admire someone like PattiVic not someone like Kelly. So big deal she received two women of the year awards. What does that say that she is a better person than the rest of us. I think not. And as far as having to look good hey, we could all look better if we had professionals do our makeup.

Hmmm...
Go figure... Today Kelly was serene, no fidgeting, no paperclip mangling, no over the top behavior, dressed nicely, no "bad taste" moments, she wasn't mugging all the time, and she didn't attack a single guest...
Sounds just like the kind of co-host some have lusted after... So, Lisaac, I'm curious... What was wrong with her today?
Funny, isn't it, if she is animated she is (all of the above)... If she is not, she is "sick"...
AARRGGHH!!!
LOL, but today, after all this "talk" about her "illness", when they were talking about the babies, and she said she wanted to make an announcement, WhooHoo... Everyone probably thought she was preggers again...
Think she might just have cut back on the caffeine?
;0))

I agree with PK...Kelly did seem serene today...
Reege has carried the show all week, IMO - which is a good thing sometimes! He really has been very funny!
Of course, none of us knows whats up with her; but I sure miss Kelly's comedy and SPUNK!
Well, my guess is, she'll be back to her old self soon (sorry, I know some don't want to hear that - lol)...

I know what's up with Kelly. I faxed R&K and mentioned this board. Suggested Kelly check out some of the comments about her "attention grabbing behavior" that everyone is so upset about. She obviously did just that and decided to throttle back a bit.
Hmmmmmm.........
The only thing noticeably different about Kelly today from yesterday was that she wasn't anywhere near a prone position. lol
Her clothes today were beyond awful.....like she picked up whatever she found on the floor. Not bad if she's pushing her kids around SoHo, but not for hosting a TV show. IMO, of course.

oh, gosh, v--I forgot about the outfit. I almost could have "signed off on it", (even thought there was Pierce B., looking quite dapper), but a black and red outfit with white "Barbie" shoes? what was up with that???? It was like she was running out of her dressing room and just grabbed the first pair of shoes she could find-- lol. Oh, well, it's not about the clothes <wink>.
I finally saw todays show and I must say, yesterday something did seem to be bothering Kelly, but Mark sure did cure her!! She was all smiles and not a darn thing seemed to bother her... not even Regis' constant interruptions.
As far as Kelly's work load. For some of you "critics" she does too much and it's making her sick, and for others, her work load is not enough for her to deserve a Women of the Year award. CAN YOU MAKE UP YOUR MIND? By the looks of things, she spends all of her spare time at home with the kids. And when she does go to an event its mostly to give support and raise money for charities and benefits. Yet for some on this board think it is ridiculous that she recieve an award or two recognizing her efforts.
