Hello! I am new to this board, and really like it! I was flipping throught the channels last night, and happened to see Jill on. I only watched for less than a minute, but she managed to say "enjoyable" twice to the caller. That was enough for me! I try to like Jill, but she seems to be nice only for a small amount of time, and then that's enough for her. She just seems very arrogant and condescending to me. Bye!

Please everyone don't attack me for this, but I thought she had way too much Mountain Dew to drink--she seemed like she was on speed at the beginning of her show...OK, here's the catty part--she would mention throughout the show that she was selling "her wedding cake"--actually the delicious Balboa cake and during that segment she would show a wedding picture of her and her husband--her gift to us...barf.
OK, I will take my punishment now--all the Jill fans go easy on me.

Her gift to us??? Ick..and what an ego. I have posted numerous times that although Jill is very thorough in her presentation of products, I wish that she would stop saying "enjoyable." It isn't even original.

Did she show her wedding picture? I'm curious what her husband looks like. I wonder what he does for a living.

I can't stop with the catty comments--her husband was pudgy, but I like pudgy guys--this is not a put down...he had dark brown hair and he looked slightly younger than Jill...I didn't find him attractive but photographs aren't always the best barometer...Jill did look quite nice in the photograph.

My husband is pudgy too, so I can relate.

Did she show her wedding photos again last night? I saw the photos she showed shortly after the wedding. It was hard to get a good look but I would say her husband looks like the guy in the black trench coat on the Sprint commercials.
I saw it too...she flashed the photo pretty quickly. He looked handsome and Jill looked very nice and happy too. Shortly before the cake presentation she did get somewhat testy with the cameraman when she was showing a candleholder.

She got testy because she was coming down from her high--I wonder if those poor camera guys/gals walk on eggshells around her?...she does have a hair trigger temper if things don't go her way.

I know what a wreck I am before I have people over to our house! (I go into "drill sergeant mode" and DH tries to find things to do in the garage!) So, I can only imagine how Miss Jill is before and during "her" shows.
That said, she did get testy with the cameraman when he wasn't following her very well -- then did a kind of fakey laugh to compensate.
I thought she looked very pretty in her wedding photo (only saw one). Her husband isn't model-gorgeous, but I still thought he was handsome. Has anyone tried that Balboa cake she had at her wedding? It looked so good I was tempted to order it,and I've vowed never to pay S&H on food again!

I happen to really like Jill. Everyone has their favorite and not-so-favorite hosts. I love her home decorating shows and think she's very talented. I don't have a problem with her showing her wedding photos. No different than MBR showing photos of her kids or having them in the studio for trick or treat, or having them on a Christmas video or telling stories about what they've done.

Someone asked Jill if she would have her "At Home With Jill" at her house. Jill said her husband was "very private" and may not like "people all over the house."
Last night Jill got a little ticked off with someone on the set because she tripped over some cords in the way and almost fell. She had to get the cameraman to get a shot of the floor.
She does act like a spoiled brat but she is a good host and is well prepared for her shows. She is very moody and you never know which mood she will be in on any particular day.
Her next "At Home With Jill" is December 2.

I agree w/all the above posts. Once again,I can take or leave Jill. I would imagine that Jill ( very moody ) would be difficult to live with. After watching this diva sometime on Q.V.C. my feeling is...Jill does not appreciate or like her job. Can you think of anyone else having it so good?? ONLY GUESSING a nice husband, adorable litle girl(w/out labor pains), beautiful home, good salary & etc.. The public has just so much "tolerance" for host/celebrity like her. Either an attitude ajustment or new job would help. Only my opinion. bye!

I haven't noticed this attitude from Jill. To me she seems to thoroughly enjoy her job and she does it pleasantly and well. I'm always happy when one of the hosts gets edgy with the camera people (Jill's not the only one). I know it's a live show, but the camera people sometimes do a really bad job of showing what the host is talking about. I want to jump through the TV and yell at them myself. Could be the director's fault too.

HI ALL!!! U bet, Junebug! Jill ain't so bad! I did happen to surf by when she got tangled in the cords...I really don't blame her for getting pissed at those guys. They weren't following her at all, there was even a camera shot of the ceiling or bare wall for a few seconds. What were they thinking? Maybe they are all new employees and don't know how to do it yet...The director should be let go, this was not acceptable.
I bet that if this happened to LEAH she would have let them have it with both fists and then claimed they were racially prejudice and sued Q for 100s of 1,000s of $$$$$$!!
