is back, if just for a day!

So glad I remembered to tape today. Great hostchat! Really, nobody does it better than Reege. He and Joy were perfect together; he tells a great story and she compliments him very nicely.

Loved the pearls (did they ever go "out" of style?) and still think Joy looks great, no matter what age she is.

Jim Carrey was hilarious. I find myself literally laughing out loud. Reege seemed to get a kick out of him too.

All in all, great host "chat." Not a clipping or post-it to be seen, just The Post and the Daily News. <wink>

It was a nice change, g, I agree. And how many 60+ women look as great as Joy does? And in a leather skirt, no less. Lots of fun today.

For sure... No clippings...

There wasn't even time for Joy to fill us in on her next "project"...

They were much too busy having an on air replay of their "firefight", Joy sharing her embarassing slip story, Joy dissing Dick Clark, and ignoring Walter and while he was speaking..

Even a couple of new strands of "Pearls for Spoiled Girls" couldn't make anyone forget how many times Joy has sported that outfit on Live... Maybe she can find a new "little red leather skirt & sweater" tomorrow when she is Christmas Shopping... LOL.. We know she will get sidetracked and turn the trip into shopping for herself...

Hey, if today is what you really like, I can see why you are disappointed so often...

Lucky me... I am only disappointed occasionally... And not even today, either... Really... It was a kick...

;0))

PK loling that yet another "Tribute to Joy" thread was deemed necessary...

At least she didn't have on a pair of dirty jeans and white shoes and didnot keep looking at herself in the camera. So she shops so what she has raised her children she has the money good for her. Ripa neglects her kids her career is more important and she dresses like a teenie booper and is stupid.

You don't know what you're talking about... I'm beginning to think that is a necessity for Kelly bashers... You know how clean her clothes are? Wow....

(Curious, though, I did note Joy looking back and forth from monitor (not camera) to monitor - now that I know where they are, LOL... Thank you Leo...)

;0))

"teenie BOOPER", not a punctuation mark in sight...and Kelly's stupid. OK...lol
I was expecting Chris to slap Joy when she so rudely said that he and his fiancee got engaged as soon as he got his check.
She must be thinking of her own gold-digging ways.
Nothing like insulting Dick Clark, Walter Cronkite and a guest all on one show. Oy

Yeh, honey I do know I am an authority on Ripa just as you are an authority on Joy. I bet you won't sleep tonight because of the anticipation of seeing Ripa tomorrow. Be still my heart.

Baby Joy not checking herself in the monitors!!!????????? That's all she does, isn't it???????

She does have a grea figure ... just wish she'd cut her hair ... little "longinthetooth" to wear her hair that long!!!!

:-) :-)

that's it

We won't sleep for just this one night. But think about it...You'll have insomnia until your 'flaming-haired goddess' returns. Between that and your daily frustration, my money's on our health. lol

LOLOLOL, CRK...

Hey, isn't this where someone should bring up that old saw about "Tit for Tat"??

Joy is in the hot seat today, and her defenders are out en masse, ragging on Kelly as revenge for some saying unpleasant things about Baby Joy...

Note how much harder it is to be on the defense than the offense? Isn't it fun getting all the old ploys thrown back in your face?
Getting flustered, arncha...
Pretty stupid, isn't it...

Hah... At least I have something to look forward to tomorrow, and the next day, and the next, and the next month, year, etc...

Now don't you stay awake all night fretting about that, ya hear? I won't...

;0))

Hah! As I said on another thread there were at least TWO clippings - One (yet again) about the hawks and another about the baseball player the Nets or Mets or whatever got...

So there!

LOL

Just got home....felt sad that I didn't tape today....but I knew I could get a play-by-play here. You guys don't disappoint!

I'd have loved to have seen it....will try to get my mom's tape when I see her a week from tomorrow....I have a feeling today's show will still be being discussed then!!!

CRK...

Glad you find something I said to be interesting...

There is a point, however, where being too cryptic is useless...

So, if you are trying to insult me, you are going to have to spell it out a bit more for this old lady...

;0))

(PS... Tylenol PM is great for insomnia + pain... Just the ticket for you, I think...)

Nah, Susan...

Kelly will be back in the barrel as of tomorrow... And I suspect she will also be the recipient of "both barrels" to get even for today's fun...

OK PK, or maybe Alicia Keys will be so bad (or so good!) that we can all agree on her.....you're right....nah!

Hi G,L,S..

...it's V..

<<<Loved the pearls (did they ever go "out" of style?)>>>

Absolutely not...they're classic.

<<<Joy looks great,>>>

I'm sure she did. Saw her and Reege the other night at "La Cage Aux Folles" Opening Night, she looked very pretty and festive in a beautiful red and black satin set. Looks like she even had her hair in an updo. Reege was his usual dapper self. lol

Hahah, Susan...

Hey, as long as Alicia doesn't read poetry for the whole hour, I will enjoy it...

Well, until the "if only Alicia were co-host" stuff begins... <wink>

;0))

PK

ohhh!!!

Veronica was out and about with the Philbins, eh? How exciting. Now tell us V? What was it like sitting in front of your computer on Narraganset St? LOLOLOL

I saw Baby Joy picking and pulling at her leather skirt, isn't that a cardinal sin for a co-host???

<<<host chat is back, if just for a day!>>>

You're right G....back to the white paper clippings this morning.

Although, newschat wasn't so bad today....lots of chit-chat from Reege, a little chit from Kelly about ballet, and then the clippings from Gelman. Not that bad.

Gosh, does Reege know how to play it up with pictures or what? lol Great pics and always a fun story. Thought Reege's bright red turtleneck was perfect...very festive.

fun stuff, but are we to believe the story about Kelly wearing Lola's make-up to the party. Geez!!!!!!!

Regis looked good in that turtleneck! Laurie Gelman looked gorgeous, as usual.

Hi L...

...it's V..

Laurie did look very pretty...and the little one is adorable. It was a cute picture of Mommy and daughter after a night of partying. lol

Re: Kelly and the makeup story........Oy. lol She didn't look well....did she blame the kitchen lighting first or did she go with the excuse that ALL of her makeup was already packed? I can't remember. lol Actually, although she didn't look great, it wasn't that bad.

<<<Regis looked good in that turtleneck!>>>

I know! lol He's a hoot.
