Why was Kelly invited?

Okay so I know Trump and Reege are pals..but why on earth was Kelly AND Mark invited to the Trump wedding? Did she know Melania or something? What does Melania do exactly?

I would assume the Consuelos' were invited because the bride and groom want them there.

From what I've seen when The Donald is on their show, I think he's very fond of Kelly and I can certainly understand why . . .

Wonder if Baby Joy will go with Mark & Kelly - they invited her since Regis is performing out this way in Las SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM or somewhere. The Donald even commented on the show a while back how nice that was of Kelly to invite Baby Joy to come with them. Somehow I can't see her (Baby Joy) doing that though . . .

Trump said on the show today that Kelly knows Melania very well.

I hope they have a great time and I hope Kelly shares some stories from the wedding. Regis and Joy will get all the scoop from Trump and Melania when they go out together next time, but it would be fun to hear Kelly's take on it.

Well, here's my take on this Trump wedding. I say Kelly won't mention anything come Monday. Trump probably have a gag order on all the guests. He can then sell the photos/stories to People/Us or who ever he wants to sell his soul to.

Maybe Kelly can compare notes with Kathie Lee. Her and Frank will be there, too! It should be interesting, to say the least.

When it comes to Donald Trump it's all about him. He buys and sells people like he does his real estate investments. The most selfish person on the face of this planet. He didn't donate a dime to the disaster relief in Asia but yet he spends $100K on a wedding dress for Melania which she is only going to use for a couple of hours at the most. Melania will basically be on a 2 year lease until the new car smells wears away and another new model pops up. Then it's trade-in time once again.

Just playing devils advocate here, but how do you "know" Trump didn't donate to the disaster relief?

It's easy to assume the worst of those you don't like... But just because it wasn't spread all over the media, doesn't mean he didn't donate... Shoot, the big guys can always use a tax write-off... Just like everyone else...

But of course, he lends credence to 'it's always 'all about him' every time he opens his mouth....

Hah, your contention that he buys and sells people leads right into Kelly's quip that Trump would do away with Jeff... There one day, and gone the next... Then Trump would point to a box and announce to guests that's where he keeps Jeff Probst...

Now THAT was met with a healthy audience response....

PK. It's a given with this guy. Name one charitable contribution he made. I don't expect the media to publicize everyones contributions but I've never heared of HIM in particular, contribute to anything.

Hopefully Kelly and Kathie will be seated at the same table....nah, doesn't seem likely that the planners would load up Regis' cohosts in one spot!

Sounds like there may be a lot of people from the fashion world attending, i.e. Anna Wintour, other fashion mag editors.
