Why do user names now have TM's?

I just noticed this recently, has anyone else? When did this start and why?

The only thing I've noticed is the posters with TM's ALSO love Lisa R. It's easier to spot them from a distance...

I noticed this and it's pretty cool. I think I'm jealous 'cause I want one.

I want one too! I don't want to be left out. My user name is cool and I want to claim it as my very own. Ok, so I don't have much in my life at the moment and these small things thrill me.


Maybe the TM means something else for the LR lovers..Maybe it is for Try Me.

Beagle, I am not sure if this site allows you to change your user ID, but if they do, just type it in, and there is probably a way you can type the R mark (on my Mac computer, its control-R). Or, make up a new name, but you will lose your 300+ posts!

Hey thanks General! I think I'll just keep my same old-same old since I don't think you can change names here and still keep your history/posts. Just know that I'm jealous of your trademark :)

BR: Now, I do like Lisa R better than most of the hosts (never more than Lisa M though), but you can keep your Lisa-lover designation - LOL - I just like her sometimes.

Hey thanks for the TM info.

I am a Lisa fan as well. My grandmother is a Robertson so I keep claiming we are related (even though it is NOT true).

I enjoy her as a host and I think she is beautiful and I am envious of her Miss America experience ( another secret desire that I finally let out last year).

HHIgirl, about your secret desire...when I was little, I would watch the pageant with my family. And I would participate from home by dressing up in my mother's dresses and doing a talent show. My parents always crowned me Princess America. hahaha The good ole days.
