I haven't been on the tour, BR, but I have gone to a few live audience shows. It's free, and you see pretty much what you have to pay $7.50 for on the tour. One time I took my mom-in-law along and she is in a wheelchair, so we were taken around through the "backstage" area where they keep all the model's clothing, extra sets, etc. and then we were seated right behind the cameras. It's really neat to see what goes on within inches of what is actually on the air.
Thanks toninutt. I will have to check it out.

The Studio Tour is OK. It does give you an idea of the size and the scope of the operation at Studio Park. The live audience shows are fun, too. As a TV watcher it seems like the host in on an empty stage where in reality they are surrounded by crew members milling around for a variety of reasons. It must be difficult to get used to concentrating on your show with all of that activity. No wonder new hosts have a long learning curve.

I've been on the studio tour a few times and always enjoy it. First time, Paul Deasy was walking around and he said hello to the tour. I thought it very interesting. We were always given a sample of something on the tours I took. Once it was Lite Bites, next time another candy sample. I thought the tour was worth the $7.50.

I thought it was a waste of time.
