Cindyloo, my camera was only $149 at Target, it is an Olympus (my brother is a photo nut and he always buys Olympus cameras) and its a 10 megapixel (which I heard is pretty decent) I'm "techonogically impaired" so I just go by what people tell me...lol
With your beautiful yard and adorable cat and dogs think of the fun you could have!!

Now THAT'S dedication... LOL...

I can't well enough to do handwork anymore, and I would never tackle anything like curtains, by hand... Hah, but there's probably less ripping out and redoing...

That would mean we would have to sell the house.... I ordered my new sink for the kitchen redo... I figured I had better do it...

The "front" room is a disaster. Holding odds and ends - for other projects. Gil will be working on the outside when he gets home and catches up a bit...

Hah, I have 10 yards of muslin I bought years ago for "something" I have long forgotten. I have thought of something to do with it several times. Only problem is that I have never been able to find it at those times... I have "found" it several times, as well, but not at any of the right times, LOL...

Hah, where do you get samples that large, LOL... Even making a patchwork, I wouldn't have enough samples to cover even one chair... Hmmm... Now there's an idea... The 4 dinette chairs need recovering... I bought a selection of remnants for that job. Only problem is that I cannot make up my mind on which one to use.... <<sigh>>

Isn't upholstery gratifying?? That is when it's not being cursed! It's a good thing Gil is not around for this project, LOL... I have been doing a lot of "vocalizing"... You're right, patience is the key... I have never seen so many staples.... And I have another wing chair to do... Maybe, lol...

Hi Cindy....

I got the molding put on with the black upholstery nails yesterday. There's a little more to do, though. Just need to figure out exactly how I want to do it... I still have pillows to make, but other things keep taking up my day, LOL... At least I have plenty to do, so I'm never bored...

Hope you are just busy.... We miss your shiny face here at TVT.... Zippy's been telling secrets about you in your absense, LOL... You better come back and defend yourself... <grin>

Morning Cindy- it sounds like you had a great time with family visiting, and breaks are always good and needed. I bet you were exhausted after everyone left...welcome back! :)

Morning Cindy- great idea about looking online, I heard Petfinder is a good site. When I adopt again I am definitely adopting from an animal shelter, so many animals need a good home that I don't see the reason for spending mega bucks on an animal, many/most breeds even have their own adoptions for dogs of that breed that was abused/neglected- hopefully, I am wording that right, I am only starting my first cup of coffee lol You are right it will be alot of work, no more sleeping in like I did this morning.....but it would be nice to have a small bundle of joy running around- just needs to be one that does not shed alot....
