Greg & Zippy Gang

What ever became of the Greg & Zippy Gang, you remember those folks don't you? About a year ago these message boards were alive and kicking with Greg & Zippy talking about spandex and developing their own hour long variety show to serve as a summer replacement for the Donny & Marie show before it got canceled. How's about some of the other ole time favorites such as Mermaid (or was it Barmaid?), Blue Girl(or was it Blue Balls?), D3 (The Movie), Geri, Nancy, Cat and that master of jive himself, Mush. I'm sure there were at least a half a dozen of the other folks whom I've unintentional left out. These boards sure do seem kind of boring without the old crew. Any chance of bringing this cast of misfits back??

Hey James, I'm one of the so call Greg and Zippy gang. The name that we were actually give was "Cyber Gang" known by posters of the board, but I havent heard from Zippy and Greg in a long time but I do stay in contact with Geena more than any of the others. I actually want to email Carli and Mermaid and the others to see how they're doing. I dont know if they still lurk these boards but who knows. They left because of Trevor mostly. Trevor treated Mermaid and some of the others poorly, even I was treated poorly but Ive gotten over it with Trevor. I dont hate Trevor but he was wrong in emailing us like he did and how he treated some of the others. He treated Mermaid and Greg so wrong...

Good to hear from you and, yeah, I also remember you and Geena. Too bad about the Cybergang. I recall you guys being stuck on a deserted island a while back, also some of the wild parties you's had thrown. I recall something about trashing Greg's apartment and D3 molesting his dog, the poor mutt (I mean Greg's mongrel, not D3) was never the same. I've also noticed that Geri's come a long way in establishing herself on the message boards (good for her). Too bad that the Cybergang just faded away, just like Donny & Maries TV ratings.

That was really me who made the above posting, not Jeny. Sorry for the identitiy crisis.
Oh, by the way, how about that millionaire Miller and his slut of a daughter, did he die and leave the cybergang any of his money.

Oh brother... that Miller story just kind of faded away! LOL I had just returned to TvTalk when that whole story started & it was like reading a book written in the Twilight Zone.

James, I remember running across one of your posts yesterday or was it today??!! I didn't know you were part of the old "CyberGang."

Geri is posting at the Rosie board. Cats stops by once in a while, time permitting and Rosielover says HI once in a while.

I looked back at some of the post of Greg and Zippy. It's not a wonder they were treated "poorly" as you call it. That Greg had a "mouth" on him.

Yes Geri, you are a much better person than before and you have come a long ways. I knew you had it in you, Geri. You just had to bring that goodness out in a way thats the most easiest for you. I knew you could be that person. Really anyone can be a good person, if they just tried different approaches towards anyone or anything that may bother them. I think the key for me is dont let anger and frustration get in the way of things...

Good job in changing your ways, Geri. Keep on doing what youre doing to become an even better person than the person you are now. You are a good person, Geri and I'm happy to finally see that in you...

BW, I agree we all have bad qualities but we change and learn by mistakes and I admit I havent been to nice here myself but alot of times posters bring it out in us but we then have to learn to not let those people get to us to make us those people we really dont like being. Other posters gave Geri a hard time and she just had a hard time with those people at that time but things have changed since then and Geri has come a long ways and I'm sure she's learned how to be that good person Ive always seen her being. I actually see some on the boards now that are good people and can better themselves if they just made a few changes...

James, its okay with using my name like you did. I see exactly what happen. You were most likely making that post to me and just used me name in the username by mistake. No need to be sorry but thanks for pointing it out and making it known what happen, so it doesnt confuse people...

I know that I am a better person and I even host Cyber Birthday parties on the Rosie Board and even have friends over there now

Jeny hasn't heard Zippy and Greg in about a year because they never did like her in the first place. That also goes for the others, just read their posts and Jeny's response to them. I don't see why Jeny is even responding to "James" since "James" has never posted here before under that name. But that's Jeny for you.

By the way nobody has heard from Zippy and Greg in almost a year. I talk to quite a few of the "cyber gang" still by email and a few in IM. Just because we didnt get along at first doesnt mean anything. We were able to get passed all that and all has been dealt with then. Some of us have even become friends. Me and Geena went neck and neck with one another but we worked thru it and I consider Geena one of the bestest friends out of the bunch. Then theres Mermaid, I loved the way Mermaid posted on the boards and Carli keep me calm most the time and of course Zippy, she had me laughing alot, somewhat like Mel does here on the boards now. I hold all 4 of those posters and friends dear to me and of course theyve been others I consider friends that was considered the "cyber gang". I still feel bad for the way I reacted but that was then, not now...

Jeny, are you ok? Do you know your math? Months ago, was not a year ago! Did you know that Greg, Zippy, and the others posted on this board within the past 6 months? You should know, since you posted to their responses. Did you know that many of them have recently been posting on the Rosie board in the past months? Just because you don't post over there much and they don't always use their name, doesn't mean they don't post under another name. Do you have a calculator? Because 12 months equals 1 year on mine.

Hey gals, I'm having a great time reading your posts. Yes, Geri has definetly come a long way in becoming a legend on these boards and lets just leave it at that. Way to go Geri!
I do recall Jeny having differences with some of the other board members, but I figured that was PMS stuff that I'd best stay out of.

Zippy's ole sidekick Greg used to crack me up with some of his silly ramblings. Remember the time he said he served in Vietnam only to have one of the other posters prove that Greg must have been seventeen years old at the time. I recall we were only drafting ninteen year olds at the time. Poor Greg, all he could do was to bad mouth the poster. I could never figure out Greg being in the Air Force for Twenty years, then being a cop and after that being a male nurse; a heck of an accomplishment for someone younger than me. Could it be the reason why no one's heard from Greg & Zippy after they moved in together is that they might have split up after Zippy found out what a phoney Greg was.

Having screened some of the threads on these message boards I've noted the worse thing that had ever happened was for someone to start one of those silly No Brainer postings about Naming your favorate song or musican or movie star. Unfortunately you got all those folks that could barely spell three consecutive words to post. Bad way to tie up a message board; a lot of folks couldn't get in to make a decent worthwhile post. I hope it doesn't happen again.

Well enough bickering, I'm out of here before I sound like a broken record.

Let's set the record straight. Jeny was never ever considered one of the "Cyber Gang". She was literally hated by them, and you will never find a post from them mentioning Jeny as one of the "Cyber Gang" members. Jeny was an outsider as much as Geri was. It is funny to see that now Jeny is a wannabe "Cyber Gang" poster, but nothing could have been further from the truth. Greg was found out to be a fraud when he claimed to be a doctor from a poster named Shaun. Something about Greg having many occupations for decades and also being in the air force retiring after 20 years, but the years and the timing didn't quite add up. But then again, nothing that Geri said at that time never made sense either. Jeny works at a discount store, Walgreens, Kmart, or Walmart (they are all the same anyway) like she claims. Jeny is the person that posted a message that she thought was from Miller. The "Cyber Gang" got mad at her when they found out it wasn't from him, and instead of Jeny apologizing for posting the fake message, she posts yet another message from an imposter calling himself Miller. When the real Miller posted weeks later, Jeny took him as another imposter, and never believed it was him. So you have Jeny to thank for ruining Miller's reputation by saying his daughter was a prostitute.

This poster here thats trying to give me a hard time is only wasting his or her time if they're trying to piss me off because it aint gonna work anymore and by the way whoever you are, you know how to twist the hell out of a post and have a good imagination with what you come up with. I do re call saying I havent talked to Zippy and Greg in "almost" a year. Do you see me posting back to Zippy and Greg in that post you have there...Nope, so that should tell you I havent talked to those 2 people in ALMOST a year. I didnt say it was exactly a year, now did I?...

Oh and by the way, I wouldnt doubt if you were a Wal-Mart shopper yourself. There's nothing wrong with Wal-Mart nor any of the other stores you spoke of. Just because they sale cheap items doesnt mean the quality of that item is cheap. It only means YOU save a buck...

Heck, I love Walmart. I was just there this morning. We have one of those new Super Walmarts. Wow, the grocery store is awesome. Everything is reasonably priced. Nothin' wrong with Walmart as far as *I'm* concerned.

Hey Cindyloo and Geri. I shop at Wal-Mart as well as work there too. I do like shopping at other stores because working there 8 hours a day kinda makes you want to keep your distance from the store until you work there but I get things that I need when I go on break plus i get my lunch there also. I work at a Wal-mart super center and I refuse to work at a division one store. I cant even shop in one of those stores and I cant see why they are expanding their division one stores into supercenters eventually...

Cindyloo, I work in the dairy section of a superceneter Wal-Mart. You probably already know that but you should see about working there. I know youve spoke of wanting to be a door greeter which probably would be the perfect thing for you. You seem to get along well with people and thats what a door greeter does is greet the customers as they come thru the door and when they leave...

I know I posted before this one about taking a nap and I feel a bit tired so I'm gonna go and take about an hour nap and be back on later on tonight if I feel up to it...

Jeny, I'm still thinking of maybe being a greeter at Walmart. I can't really lift anything that is really heavy, due to a hiatal hernia, so maybe the dairy thingy might not be so good for me, if I would have to stock. But, I would love to be a greeter. I love people a lot.

Jeny, I personally like Walmart better than K-mart. Seems like there's a Walmart ever five miles by where I live right outside Dallas. Everyday low prices with specials every now and then kind of stretch my hard earned dollars. We belong to Sams Club , a big mistake since it's only me and the wife. Most of the items there are sold in bulk and are good deals for big families but not for a couple.

By the way, does anyone know if Greg & Zippy shop at Walmart? Reason I ask is that Walmart stocks those tight white spandex that Greg used to love.

Bwhatever you want to call yourself next, changing usernames without letting posters know, is the same as lying! How many times has Bwhatever used "Wondering" without wanting people to know who "Wondering" was in the first place? Seems strange to me.

Here is just one example of how Wondering used a different username just because she didn't want people to know that "Partying Gang" is actually "Wondering" in disguise to ask a question on the Rosie board. But days later, comes back to the same thread to her current username at the time "Wondering." Wondering was too scared to use her Wondering name because it was dealing with a gun she bought.
