I've watched Young and Restless almost from the start. I used to tape all the CBS shows, but could not find the time to watch them, so, now, it's down to Y&R, and I never miss it.

I like most soaps my favorits are AMC,GH,Day's and Soapnet , I watch Dallas over and over and Knocks Landing ........I like all those old night time soaps. Wish they would bring back Flammingo Road.......That was a oldy but goody!jmho

My favorite,is AS THE WORLD TURNS.My MOTHER USE TO WATCH IT EVERY DAY.I don't watch the soaps to much,any more.

The Young and the Restless is the one soap that I watch faithfully. Sometimes I'll look in on AMC, OLTL and GH just because I watched them shortly after they began. Y&R has been on top in the ratings for years. I think it's because it is closest to what soaps were originally meant to be and doesn't go into stuff like aliens, freezing/unfreezing of dead people, spells being put on people, etc.....stuff that should be left to science fiction and/or horror movies.

lol ... what?!? Madigain - Marlena being posessed by the devil, and now Tony having Stefano's power of the Phoenix doesn't interest you? Are you saying that half of Salem being killed (ok, drugged), kidnapped and whisked to an island (protected by an invisible force field) that was transformed to be identical to Salem isn't realistic to you? It could happen, it really REALLY could! ;-)

I used to watch Days when I was in HS, as did most of the school! I remember Days was on during lunch, and at least half the kids in my first class (study hall) after lunch would sit and talk about the show. Those were the days ... Bo and Hope, Kayla and Patch, Shane and Kim. Remember Anna Dimeara ... LOVED her!

Madigan Love your Graphic he's cute.I like Y & R also.I have been listening to soaps on the radio before they came to tv since I was a child.Days of Our Lives is over the top most of the time.jmho

I use to watch Days until Marlena became possessed..so now I watch on occasion GH and All my Children. Nighttime soaps...Knot's Landing was THE best!!!! And Falcon's Crest.

lol ... AAAHHHH! I LOVED Knots Landing! I wanted to be Abby! LOVE LOVE LOVED her eye make-up! She was a more realistic villain, as opposed to Alexis on Dynasty! Falcons Crest was fun too. Dare I say I was hot for Lorenzo Lamas? lol ...

Beekeeper...me too...my co-worker at that time watched with me just to see Abby!!! If I remember correctly, she had a make-up line and book out detailing how she did her eye make-up. Do I remember correctly?

I don't remember that ... but I'm not surprised! I can't believe I'm admitting this, but I had a picture of her taped to my mirror so I could try to copy the look. I was barely a teenager at that time, so my Mother wouldn't let me leave the house with it on ... but GOSH darn it, I got pretty good at it! lol ...

My favorite is "As the World Turns". I used to watch "Young and the Restless" but it has really gone downhill... how many times does Victor have to try and take down Jabot until he just forgets about it...
And is it just me or is the actor that plays Ridge on the "Bold and the Beautiful" the worst actor ever!!??? I can't stand to watch B&B because of him!
